Student
Selection
Student selection is of great importance. We are offering an
elite hockey program to regular hockey players so the students are
not required to have a high level of expertise to be accepted in the
program
Attendance
Students enrolled in the hockey academy
are expected to attend school and the academy unless we are notified
of illness or unforeseeable
circumstances.
Behaviour
Classroom and school ground behaviour will be a huge consideration
for acceptance in this program.
Students are expected to act in a safe manner at all times. A code of conduct
will be distributed and read to each member of the academy at the beginning
of the year and the students and their parents/guardians are required
to sign this Code of Conduct and adhere to it.
Academics
Students will be expected to maintain high academic standing (to the best of
their ability) and their work habits will reflect their commitment
to this.
Individuals
Desire
Students in the Academy value the opportunity to be part this unique program
and will strive to maximize both their academic and hockey potential. Applicants
will be interviewed, by the head
coach, Mr. Craig Didmon and/or the Principal, Ms. L. Magiera,
prior to being admitted into the academy.
* Analysis of attendance, behaviour, and academics will be based
on the student’s performance during the 2008/09 school
year
